Pat is a principal with the Life Technology Solutions practice of Milliman and functions as its CEO. Life Technology Solutions provides products and services related to financial and risk reporting and projections, including Integrate™, MG-ALFA®, and MG-Triton®. Pat, who joined the firm in 1999, has worked in Philadelphia, Seattle, and the United Kingdom. Now in the New York office, she was elected to the firm's board of directors in 2015.
Prior to joining Milliman, Pat spent nine years working with the PTS™ software system at SS&C/CHALKE Incorporated and at Avon Consulting Group. During this time, she was involved in development, provided and managed support and training, and worked with customers to define the product content and direction. While at Avon, Pat used the PTS system to provide consulting support to life insurance companies, including building corporate models and performing cash-flow testing, system customization, and product pricing.
Pat began her career working in the actuarial departments of GEICO Life and Annuity Company and CIGNA as an actuarial systems specialist, and at Reliance Insurance Company, where she assisted in the implementation of an ALM modeling process.
Pat has been a guest speaker on several occasions at Society of Actuaries meetings, speaking on topics such as "Technology as a Competitive Advantage," "General Modeling Techniques," "Real-time Stochastic Analysis," and "Complex Liability Modeling Issues." Recently, she spoke at the World Cloud Forum on "Azure and Financial Modeling."
