
Tracy Margiott
Tracy Margiott is a principal and consulting actuary with the Healthcare Consulting Practice in Milliman’s Hartford, Connecticut, office. She joined the firm in 2012.
Experience
Tracy specializes in evaluating health benefit programs for both public and private sector clients, including insurance companies, employers, pharmacy benefit managers, Medicare plan sponsors, and government entities.
Tracy’s expertise is in assessing medical and prescription drug benefit plans. Her experience includes pricing health benefits, estimating claim reserves, and evaluating plan performance.
Tracy has been involved with both the individual and group Medicare Part D markets throughout her career. She supports Medicare Part D plan sponsors with plan design, formulary design, and pricing of prescription drug plans. She advises employers and pharmacy benefit managers on the design and pricing of Employer Group Waiver Plans (EGWPs). Her focus is on assisting Part D stakeholders with assessing and understanding strategic considerations in response to regulatory and market changes.
Tracy is a coauthor of the “Estimating Pharmacy Claim Costs” chapter in the Group Insurance textbook. In addition, Tracy has coauthored articles published in Milliman’s Health and Group Benefits newsletter and Insight magazine.
